Meet Our Tutors

Ms. Kaye has been teaching and tutoring math and science for over 18 years. She has a Bachelor’s in mathematics and a Master’s degree in math education. In addition to private tutoring, she has worked at a couple of learning centers, Academic Solutions and Sylvan Learning Center, where she tutored math and SAT/ACT math test prep. She plans on pursuing a doctorate in Math Education. She currently teaches math and science at Eaton Academy in Roswell, GA. She enjoys teaching and takes great pleasure in helping students achieve success.

Mr. Joseph

Mr. Joseph Doghudje has a Bachelors and a Masters degree in Information Studies and he is now working on his PhD in Education (curriculum and instruction). He has over 9 years experience teaching and tutoring mostly Math and Science subjects at all levels of the K-12 system. Mr. Joseph has been tutoring students for the SAT and ACT for more than 5 years. He tutors test prep Math, Reading, Writing, and Science (ACT). He is always excited to work with students who want to hit a perfect score in the SAT or ACT. He also tutors AP Subjects; Math, Physics, and Calculus. Mr. Joseph has taught in public and private schools in New York, California, and Georgia. 

Ms. Tamara

Ms. Tamara holds an M.F.A. in Creative Writing and tutors in English, Composition, ACT English/Reading and SAT Reading/Writing at Peach State Tutoring. Currently, she also lectures at Kennesaw State University and Clark Atlanta University, where she teaches freshman composition, Prior to moving to Georgia from New York City, she was teaching freshman composition and developmental writing across various universities and colleges: Long Island University, Essex Community College, and Bergen Community College. Ms. Lebron loves teaching and has been teaching for 15 years. 

Mr. Hasan has scored in the 99th percentile (top 1% of possible scorers) on the ACT and SAT and has taught and tutored students in ACT Prep, SAT Prep, college essay writing, and extracurricular activities such as Science Olympiad in 1:1 individual tutoring and classroom settings. He is well regarded for his ability to break down complex topics and help his students achieve excellent scores on the SAT, ACT, and in the subjects he tutors, and has guided students to state and national level tournaments in Science Olympiad. During the course of his tutoring years, he has over 2,700+ hours of tutoring and test preparation experience, and is dedicated to making sure his students reach their goals and find enjoyment in the tutoring they receive.

Mr. Ron has a B.S. and a M.Ed. in mathematics from the University of Georgia. He has taught for many years at the high school level and has been tutoring at Peach State for several years. His teaching experience encompasses every high school subject from Algebra 1 to AP Calculus AB, and his tutoring experience includes those subjects plus: SAT, ACT math and science, SSAT, SAT mathematics subject tests (both levels), GRE Math, Phillips Exeter Math 1, 2, and 3, AP Calculus BC, and Georgia Tech Calculus II.

Dr. Keir holds a Ph.D. in the Humanities with a concentration in English from Clark Atlanta University. Her undergraduate degree was also in English Literature, with a minor in Mandarin Chinese. Although Dr. Keir speaks several languages, including Spanish and Chinese, she has chosen to currently be an English Instructor at Clark Atlanta University and Strayer University. Due to her ability to speak multiple languages, she has also worked extensively with teaching English as a second language. She has a special interest in advancing reading comprehension, critical thinking, and analyzing skills in all her students. Dr. Keir enjoys teaching and serves at Peach State as a tutor in English at all levels; Spanish and Chinese at the primary level.

With a bachelors in linguistics from the University of Pennsylvania and a masters in education, Ms. Diana has shared her love for the written word with students of all ages for over twenty years. She headed the elementary Gifted and Talented Education program before homeschooling for six years and has taught composition at California Baptist University. A professional writer and editor, Ms. Diana has also led at conferences workshops for public, private, and homeschool teachers on the best practices of writers. Her articles, prose, and poetry feature in magazines and anthologies.

Mr. Daniel combines his B.S. in mathematics with his M.S. in Instructional Design and Technology to create engaging learning environments for students of all backgrounds. He has worked as a professional tutor for over 7 years, covering high school and college mathematics courses, SAT, ACT, and AP exams. With his discussion-based approach to tutoring, he makes sure to understand where students struggle, emphasize areas of opportunity, and facilitate habits that translate to not only better test scores, but more confident learners overall.
